1. Best frigate for a noob to mission and eventually pvp with and a few other quest... - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Caldari have some respectable Combat ships: The Kestrel is fantastic if you want a pure missile ship. The Merlin is nice although it needs some more training (Hybrids + Rockets) - but it's damn nasty tank as well as decent dps.

Attacking non flashies/war targets gives you want is called Global criminal count down. For the duration (15 minutes) you will get shot by station/gate guns etc. That's why it's best not to engage on gates unless you know you can tank the gate gun...

6. question about low sec exploration. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I used a Arbitrator for months to explore (fitted with everything from cloak, scan, hack, analyze and salvage) and using the drones for damage and a armor tank. It works fine. You should be able to do exactly the same with a vexor.

7. Noobs, do not be afraid of lowsec. It is where fun is :) - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Exploration in low sec is fantastic (more sites as most people are afraid of going into low). Faction warfare missions. Planetery interaction. Salvaging (T2 ships wrecks from PvP combat - intact stuff sells for alot). Ganking haulers. Ransoms Lot...

8. I just lost a ship to a player pirate. What should I learn from this experience? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Make sure you try and fit a full flight of drones (lights or mediums) and some energy neuts if you plan on missioning in low sec - you can neut/drone small ships to death to prevent them from tackling you untill their support arrives.

Go to low sec and become pirates! 1-2 of you in a low SP Jamming frigate (griffin ?) the rest fit with Webs, scrams and guns will make short work of frigates and evne some cruisers. Go forth and conquer!
